report and manage concerns, and the responsibilities of all employees in

promoting the safety of vulnerable individuals in our care.

2. Reporting Safeguarding Issues

All staff members, including drivers, administrative staff, and contractors,

must immediately report any safeguarding concerns to the Safeguarding

Lead, whose contact details are provided below. Safeguarding issues

include, but are not limited to, physical or emotional abuse, neglect,

exploitation, or any form of mistreatment of vulnerable individuals.

3. Role of the Safeguarding Lead

The Safeguarding Lead for Globus SW Ltd. is responsible for overseeing

all safeguarding concerns and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

The Safeguarding Lead's contact details are as follows:

• Position: Safeguarding Lead

4. Escalation and Determination of Safeguarding Reports Safeguarding

reports will be initially reviewed by the Safeguarding Lead. If necessary,

concerns will be escalated to external authorities such as local

safeguarding boards, law enforcement, or relevant social services,

depending on the severity of the issue. All safeguarding concerns will be

documented, and decisions regarding actions taken will be made in

consultation with relevant authorities, in line with local safeguarding

protocols.

5. Expectations Regarding Boundaries and Behaviour

All employees, contractors, and volunteers of Globus SW Ltd. are

expected to maintain professional boundaries when transporting and

interacting with vulnerable children and adults. Behavioural expectations

include:

• Respect and Dignity: All passengers must be treated with respect

and dignity, without discrimination, and in a manner that promotes

their safety and well-being.

• Physical Contact: No staff member should engage in unnecessary

physical contact with passengers. Any required assistance (such

as helping with mobility) should be performed with sensitivity and

in a manner that respects personal space.

• Communication: Staff should communicate appropriately, avoiding

any language or behaviour that could be construed as

inappropriate, threatening, or abusive.

• Confidentiality: Staff are expected to maintain confidentiality about

any concerns or information related to the safeguarding of

vulnerable individuals, sharing only what is necessary with

appropriate authorities or personnel.

6. Frequency of Policy Review

This Safeguarding Policy will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if

there are any significant changes to the operational environment,

safeguarding regulations, or legislation that affect the company's duties

to safeguard passengers. All employees will be informed of policy

changes, and the revised policy will be shared with relevant local

authorities at least 7 working days prior to taking effect.

7. Reporting and Managing Policy Changes

Any changes made to this policy will be communicated to all relevant

stakeholders, including the Council, at least 7 working days before taking

effect. The updated policy will be provided on application to any

interested party.

8. Sharing Safeguarding Concerns

Employees are encouraged to share any safeguarding concerns they may

have. They are not to ignore, dismiss, or downplay any potential issues.

All concerns should be reported promptly, and staff are expected to

cooperate fully with any investigations or actions taken to ensure the

safety of vulnerable individuals.
